O Lord God of all, have mercy upon us, and behold us, and show us the light of thy mercies:

And put thy fear upon all the nations that seek thee not, that they may know that there is no God but thou, and that they may declare thy wondrous works.

Lift up thy hand upon the strange nations, and let them know thy power.

As thou art sanctified in us before them, so be thou glorified in them before us.

And let them know thee, as we have known that there is no God but only thou, O Lord.

Renew thy signs, and work new wonders.

Glorify thy hand and thy right arm.

Arouse thy wrath, and pour out thy indignation.

Destroy the adversary, and crush the enemy.

Hasten the time, and remember the covenant; and let them declare thy wondrous works.

Let the fire of fury consume him that escapeth, and let them perish that oppress thy people.

Smite the heads of the rulers of the enemies, who say, There is none but we.

Gather all the tribes of Jacob together, and inherit them, as in the beginning.

O Lord, have mercy upon the people that is called by thy name, and upon Israel, whom thou hast made thy firstborn.

Be gracious unto thy holy city, Jerusalem, the city of thy rest.

Fill Zion with thy words, and thy people with thy glory.

Bear witness unto those that have been thy creation from the beginning, and raise up the prophecies that have been spoken in thy name.

Give them that wait for thee their reward, and let thy prophets be found faithful. Hear, O Lord, the prayer of thy suppliants.

According to the blessing of Aaron upon thy people, so let all the inhabitants of the earth know that thou art the Lord God of the ages.

The belly devoureth all meat; yet is one meat better than another.

The throat discerneth meats of game; so doth a wise heart words of falsehood.

A froward heart causeth heaviness; but a man of much experience recompenseth him.

A woman will marry any man; yet is one daughter better than another.

The beauty of a woman cheereth the countenance, and surpasseth all the desires of a man.

If there be mercy and meekness in her tongue, her husband is not like the children of men.

He that getteth a wife beginneth a possession, a help like unto himself, and a pillar of rest.

Where there is no hedge, the possession is spoiled; and where there is no wife, he that wandereth mourneth.

Who will trust a thief that hasteneth from city to city? So in like manner, a man that hath no nest, and lodgeth wheresoever he cometh.
