Whoso feareth the Lord will do this; and whoso keepeth the Law shall obtain wisdom. And unto this He hath added His commandments and His precepts. For if thou wilt, thou shalt keep the commandments and fulfill His good pleasure. Great is the wisdom of the Lord; He is mighty in power and seeth all things.
She shall meet him as a mother, and receive him as a virgin bride.
She shall feed him with the bread of understanding, and give him the water of wisdom to drink; he shall be established and not be moved.
And upon her shall he lean, and not be ashamed; and she shall lift him up among his companions.
And she shall open his mouth in the congregation, and fill him with the spirit of wisdom and understanding; and she shall clothe him with a robe of glory.
He shall inherit joy, and a crown of rejoicing, and an everlasting name.
The foolish among men perceive her not; but the wise hasten unto her, and sinners for she is far from pride and deceit.
Lying men remember her not; but the truthful are found in her, and prosper until they behold God.
Praise is not comely in the mouth of a sinner.
For the Lord sent not the sinner; but he who hath wisdom doth utter praise, and the Lord maketh him to prosper.
Say not, My straying from her is from the Lord; but refrain from doing that which He hateth.
Say not, He hath led me astray; for He hath no need of a sinful man.
Every abomination is hateful to the Lord, and is not beloved by those who fear Him.
He Himself made man from the beginning, and left him in the power of his own choice.
And He hath set before thee fire and water; stretch forth thine hand unto that which thou wilt.
Life and death are before man; and whatsoever pleaseth him shall be given unto him.
And His eyes are upon those who fear Him, and He knoweth all the works of man.
He hath commanded no man to act hypocritically, neither hath He given any man license to sin.
For He loveth not the multitude of wicked children, in whom there is no good.
