And Mordecai said that all these things were from God.

And he called to remembrance a dream which he had seen, that did foretell these very things; and nothing thereof hath failed.

A small fountain became a river, and was turned into a light and a sun, and overflowed with many waters: this is Esther, whom the king took for his wife, and was minded that she should be queen.

And the two dragons are I and Haman.

And the nations that were assembled are those who sought to destroy the name of the Jews.

And my people is Israel, who cried unto the Lord, and the Lord saved His people, and delivered us from all evils, and wrought great signs and wonders among the Gentiles.

And He commanded that there should be two lots, one for the people of God, and the other for all nations.

11

And these two lots came forth before God on the designated day from that time forth, for all nations.

12

And the Lord remembered His people, and had mercy upon His inheritance.

13

Therefore these two days, the fourteenth and fifteenth of the month Adar, are kept with all zeal and joy, and the people shall assemble as one congregation in all generations of the people of Israel hereafter.
